What is the schedule of events on race day?
6:00am - Packet Pickup / Registration open*
6:30am – Gear Check opens
7:50am - Opening ceremonies

Can I sign up for the race on race day?
Yes, race day sign up will be from 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM on the north side of Ross-Ade Stadium.
What time will the half-marathon and 5K start?
The half-marathon starts at 8:00 AM and the 5K starts at 8:10 AM.
When is the Kids Fun Run?
Due to lack of participation in previous years, we have decided to cancel the Kids Fun Run from future events. We apologize for the inconvenience.
What are the deadlines for online and paper registration?
Online registration will close at 8:00am on Friday, October 15. If you miss the online registration deadline, you may sign up at the Expo on Friday, October 15 from 12:00pm - 8:00pm, or on race morning, October 16, from 6:00am - 8:00am.
*If you do not pick up your packet at the expo or on race day, your packet is not guaranteed. Race shirts will not be mailed after the race.*
May I upgrade or downgrade my originally registered event?
Yes. If you would like to upgrade from the 5K event to the half-marathon or downgrade from the half-marathon to the 5K, please contact our Registration Coordinator at Jason@TuxBro.com or 317-733-3300. If you downgrade from the half-marathon to the 5K, you will NOT be refunded the price difference for the events. If you are upgrading from the 5K to the half-marathon, you will need to pay the upgrade difference. You must notify Tuxedo Brothers Event Management by Wednesday, October 13 by 12:00pm, visit the Help Desk at the Expo on the 15th, or at the raceday Packet Pickup on the 16th.
May I get a refund for my entry?
No, entry fees are non-refundable.
May I transfer my registration to another person?
Yes! You may transfer your entry to another participant. The new participant is responsible for paying a transfer fee ($10 through Oct. 14, and $15 on Oct. 15 & 16). If you would like to transfer your entry, e-mail Jason Springer atl Jason@TuxBro.com
Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes. In order to pick up someone else's packet, you must show proof of that person's confirmation, a signed note from that person authorizing you to pick up their packet, OR a copy of their Drivers License or photo ID. There are no exceptions.
Will there be a gear check?
Yes. Gear Check will
be available starting at 6:30 AM on race morning. All gear must be picked up by 12:30 PM race day.
We will have a limited number of bags available; it is recommended that you bring your own bag. Any gear not picked up on race day will be taken to Tuxedo Brothers Headquarters. Any gear not claimed by November 1 will be donated to a local charity.

Are there pace requirements for the event?
An 18 minute (18:00) per mile pace is required for both the half-marathon and the 5K. The half-marathon course will close at 12:00 PM. If you are unable to maintain the 18:00 per mile pace, you will be asked to move to the sidewalk and continue at your own risk, or board the SAG Wagon to be taken back to the finish line area.
Where can I park on race day?
Limited parking will be available at Ross-Ade Stadium. Participants may also park at the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage, located at about .75 miles away at 504 Northwestern Ave.
Can I wear headphones during my run?
For safety purposes, we ask that headphones not be worn. It is important that you are able to hear any direction or instruction from volunteers, police and/or race personnel.
Can I bring my dog?
No, we do not allow participants to bring dogs. In addition, please do not bring skates, baby strollers or jogging strollers.
Is there a minimum age requirement for the half-marathon?
You must be at least 10 years old by October 16 to participate in the half-marathon event.

Is there prize money for the top finishers?
Prize money will be awarded to the top 3 male and female overall finishers of the half-marathon.
1st - $300.00
2nd - $200.00
3rd - $100.00
Will there be Age-group awards?
Age-group awards will be given in the following increments to the top 3 in both the half-marathon and 5K events:
12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and above
Do finishers receive a medal?
Yes, all finishers in both the half-marathon and 5K will receive a finisher medal.
Will there be an award ceremony?
There will not be a formal awards ceremony. Awards will be given out at the Packet Pickup table on the north side of Ross-Ade Stadium. Awards must be picked up by 12:00 PM. AGE-GROUP AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED.

What time zone is West Lafayette?
For those of you traveling to West Lafayette from out of state, Indiana now observes Daylight Savings Time, and is in the Eastern Time Zone. The Purdue Boilermaker half-marathon will start at 8:00 AM EDT.
As a spectator, where are good spots to watch the race?
Viewing options for half-marathon:

- Downtown Lafayette 3rd St and Main approximately. mile 6.5
