2024 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Friday, October 25 – Location to be determined

  • Expo Packet Pickup
    Shift 1– 11:00am – 4:00pm
    Shift 2– 3:30pm – 8:30pm
    Volunteers Needed: 30 total (2 shifts x 15/shift)

    Expo/Packet Pickup volunteers will pass out participant’s bibs, shirts, etc. as well as other duties as assigned.

Saturday, October 26 – Location Varies

  • Volunteer Check-in
    5:00am – 8:15am @ Ross-Ade Stadium
    Volunteers Needed:  3

    Volunteers will assist in the assignment and organization of all event volunteers as well as serve as a question and answer location for spectators, volunteers and participants.  Volunteer refreshments will also be served from this location.

  • Race Day Packet Pickup
    5:30am – 8:30am @ Ross-Ade Stadium
    Volunteers Needed:  20

    Packet Pickup volunteers will pass out participant’s bibs, shirts, etc. as well as other light duties as assigned.

  • Gear Check
    6:00am – 12:00pm @ Ross-Ade Stadium
    Volunteers Needed: 12

    Volunteers will organize and monitor participants gear throughout the duration of the race and assist them in picking up their materials once finished.

  • Cone Crew
    6:00am – 10:00am
    Volunteers Needed: 2

    Volunteers will assist in the set-up of the course by setting out, and later, picking up cones from the back of a box truck. Some Lifting may be required.

      
  • Start/finish Setup
    6:00am – 8:00am @ Ross-Ade Stadium
    Volunteers Needed:   5

    Volunteers will assist in the set-up of the start/finish area. Some lifting may be required.

  • Water Stations
    6:30am-12:30pm, Location Varies
    Volunteers Needed:  100

    Volunteers will be stationed at one of many water stations along the course, handing out refreshments to participants as they pass by. Water stations are to be managed ONLY by groups of 8 or more.

  • Course Marshal
    6:30am-12:30pm, Location Varies
    Volunteers Needed:  150

    Volunteers will be placed along the course to monitor and provide directional assistance to participants. We will donate back to large groups volunteering in this position.

  • Finisher Medal Distribution
    7:30am – 11:30am @ Ross-Ade Stadium
    Volunteers Needed: 40 

    Finish line volunteers can help in many different areas including, timing tag removal, refreshment distribution, medal distribution, and finish line assisting.

  • Finish line Refreshments
    7:30am – 11:30am @ Ross-Ade Stadium
    Volunteers Needed: 10

    Refreshment volunteers will help with setup/teardown of the refreshment area, and also be responsible for distributing snacks, water, Gatorade and milk to participants.
